Maritime
While growing up, I spent much of my summers in Ferrysburg, near Grand Haven on Lake Michigan's east shore. Meeting the freighters coming into the Grand Haven pier was a highlight of the summer, and turning those inspirations of mine into drawings and paintings has been a constant pastime since.
